Installation

To use Phonetic Keyboards in any iOS application you  must first enable it in the iOS settings (a one-time operation).

  1. Settings
  2. General
  3. Keyboard
  4. Keyboards
  5. Add New Keyboard
  6. Select “Phonetic Keyboards” (Located under THIRD-PARTY KEYBOARDS)

Universal Use

After installation, use  Phonetic Keyboards in any iOS app by tapping the 🌐 on your default iOS keyboard until “Phonetic Keyboards” is reached.

Alternatively, hold 🌐 and select “Phonetic Keyboards.”

Typing with Phonetic Keyboards

Phonetic Keyboards function similarly to other iOS keyboards. Tap a character once to have it appear in a text field. Hold a character to display and then select the additional available characters.IMG_1439

Unlocking Keyboards

Phonetic Keyboard Lite comes included with Phonetic Keyboards. All other available keyboards are listed on the main page of the app (Keyboards). Tap “Unlock” to enable the desired keyboard(s). You will be prompted to approve the purchase before your account is charged.

 

Using Enabled Keyboards

Switch between purchased keyboards by tapping on the keyboard interface and selecting the desired keyboard.
